Discover Eton for Schools - a new educational resource
Learning Material from Eton Information Centre.
Eton Information Centre has developed a resource for schools wanting to take advantage of
the easily accessed outdoor learning location that is Eton, rich in local history and with a
varied but easily navigated environment including both nature, town and river.
The resources take the form of a booklet with background information for the use of
teachers, along with associated worksheets for the children.
There are versions for Reception, Years1-2 and Years 3- 4, with a version for Years 5-6 soon
to be completed.
The questions are all linked to the national curriculum and cover history, geography and
science topics. It is set out as a mini walking tour of Eton, where each location is selected to
help illustrate a question.

Eton Information Centre was set up by the Eton community and with the support
of Eton College to help locals and visitors alike make the most of living in or
visiting the historic town of Eton and the village of Eton Wick.
