£800m SEND CPD framework announced

The DfE is due to launch a tender process for a national SEND workforce development framework worth up to £800m. It is intended to support the government's announced investment for teachers, leaders and teaching assistants in implementing the proposed SEND reforms.

The DfE hopes the framework will design and deliver continuing professional development (CPD) across the education sector to ensure plans for inclusion are adequately resourced.
