Join us for a powerful event exploring modern slavery through the lens of lived experience. We are very pleased to welcome Alex Barnes-Ross, a survivor of exploitation who has spoken publicly about his experiences of coercive control and life within a high-control group, and his journey to freedom and recovery. Through sharing his lived experience, Alex brings a unique and thought-provoking perspective on the realities of exploitation, resilience and empowerment.

This session offers an opportunity to deepen our understanding of modern slavery, recognise the signs of exploitation, and reflect on how we can support individuals affected by abuse and coercive control. We are grateful to Alex for sharing his story and helping to shine a light on this important issue.
