NEW – SEND and Inclusion Training Materials
The Department has published new, free training materials for schools and post-16 settings to use to plan and deliver staff training on SEND and inclusive teaching. The first set of materials covers inclusive teaching and develops educators’ knowledge of speech, language and communication, alongside high-quality teaching strategies that support all learners.
Developed by Ambition Institute for the Department for Education, these resources draw on the best available evidence, including Education Endowment Foundation guidance and Ambition’s Inclusive Teaching Framework, and have been shaped through extensive collaboration with schools and trusts, post-16 settings, and organisations across the education sector.
The version for schools is available here. The version for post-16 providers is available here.
