RBWM Libraries has an initiative Reading Development Service For Schools set up to support school library provision. This service reflects RBWM Libraries’ commitment to inspiring a lifelong love of reading and providing schools with the tools they need to nurture engaged, thoughtful learners, helping schools to expand their library collections with fiction and non-fiction titles, supporting both curriculum learning and reading for pleasure. Resources are designed to enhance enjoyment, spark curiosity and enrich imagination.

This service offers schools with exceptional value by providing access to a wide range of reading resources that far exceed what could be purchased with the same budget.

Annual subscription packages range from 100 to 950 books per year, with unlimited exchanges, ensuring schools can continually refresh their collections. In addition, curriculum-aligned Topic Boxes are available to further support teaching and literacy development.
