Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2026 Updates

Please find below the updated Safeguarding Model Policy and supporting resources, revised in line with the latest KCSIE 2026 requirements.

Action Required: Website Uploads

• Deadline: Please ensure your updated policy is live on your school website by 1st September.

• Governing Board Approval: You must upload the policy by this deadline even if it has not yet been formally signed off by your Governing Board.

Important Note: If your policy is still awaiting formal approval, simply add a clear statement to the document or webpage stating: "Awaiting Governing Board Approval."
