Dear colleagues,

The RBWM Climate Partnership is bringing residents and local organisations together for four free Climate Action Conversations across the borough this November.

Schools are invited to help parents and carers hear about these events by sharing the attached graphic and the information below through parent newsletters, school communication platforms, websites and social media. We also have printed versions of the poster we can deliver, if you would like to hang it up.

The Climate Action Conversations are an opportunity for residents and local organisations to explore what local climate action could look like and help shape practical projects in their communities. Attendees will hear from people with relevant experience, meet others interested in the same topics, and discuss new community-led projects that they could help take forward.

The four events are:

• Energy: 10 November, 6pm to 9pm, Windsor Leisure Centre
• Reducing Waste: 17 November, 6pm to 9pm, Green Skills Library, Maidenhead
• Natural Environment: 18 November, 6pm to 9pm, Braywick Nature Centre
• Sustainable Transport: 24 November, 6pm to 9pm, Tempo Maidenhead

All events are free, but places are limited and attendees must sign up in advance. No prior knowledge or experience is needed, and everyone is welcome to take part.

Parents and carers bring valuable knowledge of their neighbourhoods and the everyday experiences of local families. Their perspectives can help shape community-led climate projects that are practical, inclusive and relevant to local communities.

Thank you for helping families across the borough discover how they can contribute to local climate action.

Best regards,
