One issue that we are aware of is a lack of information included in the Op Encompass notifications to schools. We are working on this internally but it requires multiple IT systems and isn’t a quick fix.

In the meantime, should you receive a Op Encompass notification and require further information, please contact: ENCompass@thamesvalley.police.uk

The Op Encompass team will be able to share additional information, such as who the aggrieved and suspect were, if the child was present and other contextual information to help you support your student, and keep your school community safe. This will be password protected and the password will be the same as the original notification.

Thames Valley Police ask that you please also use the above email if you haven’t received an Op Encompass notification for a student, but you’re aware of police involvement for a DA incident in their household. Please email the student’s name and date of birth, so the police can check whether they are correctly linked to your school setting.
