My story: Exploring Diversity

RBWM Training – Spring 2026

Date: Thursday 12th March 2026
Time: 4.00-5.30pm
Location: Furze Platt Infant School

Who is this for?

  • All RE Leads and school leaders involved in planning, delivering, or overseeing Religious Education (RE) across all key stages – suitable for all schools which follow the Locally Agreed Syllabus, or use it to guide curriculum planning.
  • Teachers who teach RE and would like to know more about how to improve their subject knowledge of diversity within religions.

What will you learn?

  • How to evaluate the quality of resources you use in the classroom to deliver RE.
  • How to use appropriate language to reduce stereotyping and encourage recognition of diversity within religions.

Why attend?

  • RE is a statutory subject and a vital part of a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • We want children to see that everyone is unique and that their faith or worldview is as unique as they are.
