Fully-Funded Cyber Security Training for Your School
Is your school cyber secure?
Are your staff, students, and wider school community equipped to recognise and respond to today’s most common online threats? Are you confident your school is meeting the Department for Education’s Cyber Security Standards for Schools and Colleges?
At the South East Cyber Crime Unit, we’re here to help.
We are offering fully-funded cyber security training specifically designed for schools. Our expert-led sessions make technical topics clear and accessible – empowering staff, senior leaders and governors to better protect themselves and your school’s digital environment, in line with DfE requirements.
In response to ongoing requests from schools and parents/carers, we’re now pleased to also offer student-focused sessions, delivered during the school day. These engaging and age-appropriate sessions help pupils understand how to stay safe online using real-world, relatable examples.
Please note: The student session is available only to schools that take up both of the other fully-funded training sessions – one for staff and one for senior leaders.
As an added bonus, an optional live session for parents and carers is also available, offering an opportunity to extend cyber awareness across the wider school community - reinforcing your school’s commitment to digital safety both in and out of school.
Here’s what’s included – at no cost to your school:
- A dedicated staff cyber security awareness session
- A separate senior leader and governor session, focused on strategic cyber responsibilities and achieving compliance with DfE requirements
- Student session(s) delivered in school hours
- Bonus session: parents and carers presentation - webinar or in-person
These inputs support your school in meeting the DfE Cyber Security Standards for Schools and Colleges through relevant, accessible, and up-to-date training for all key stakeholders.
Cyber Security is not just for IT providers – it is everybody’s business.
Let’s work together to ensure your school community is informed, empowered, and protected.
