Every Child Safe from Exploitation Conference

Thames Valley Police would like your help in selecting suitable delegates for their ‘Every Child Safe from Exploitation’ Conference on Monday 15th September. This is an in-person event only which will be held at Exeter Hall, Kidlington, OX5 1AB. Arrival 0900 for a start time of 0930. The theme will be child sexual exploitation, with a particular focus on male victims, and we’re fortunate to be joined by two keynote speakers from ‘Lads Like Us’ who will be sharing their own lived experiences of child sexual exploitation.

In order for the event to be as effective and collaborative as possible, we’d welcome representation from a range of different agencies and organisations from across the Thames Valley, including:

  • Children’s Safeguarding Partnership Manager or Chair
  • Designated Safeguarding Leads – primary and secondary settings
  • Senior Leaders from Pupil Referral Unit or Alternative Provision
  • MASH Team Leaders or Senior Social Workers
  • Prevention & Youth Justice Team Leaders, Youth Offending Services and Probation
  • Health Safeguarding Professionals

Spaces are limited, and your partnership locality has been allocated a maximum amount of tickets. Please see below.  Based on this, please consider who from the above agencies would benefit from attending the conference and email them the following Select tickets – Every child safe from Exploitation – Exeter Hall, Oxford Road,
