It was so great to see so many of you at the forum (the slides are attached). Thank you so much to the staff at Trevelyan for hosting.

As requested, I have secured a date for our next meeting where we can have a cross-phased focus on TRANSITION

Inclusion Summit

We are extremely pleased to announce our 4th RBWM Inclusion Summit. 

It will be a great opportunity for all Parents and Carers, as well as other key stakeholders, to come together to share information and celebrate developments in SEND across the Borough. There will also be a bustling Market Stall to peruse.

It will be a face to face event held on Wednesday 8th February 2023 at Norden Farm in Maidenhead

The Incredible Years Programme is a 12 to 14 weeks course for parents and/or carers of 3 to 12 year olds children, whose behaviour has been having significant impact on their home and school life experiences. Parents and/or carers must be willing to commit to all sessions.

The IY Programme has a nurturing parenting approach to collaboratively support parents and carers to address their children’s needs. The programme will be delivered by trained Family Hub Workers, with sessions running at Windsor and Maidenhead Family Hubs.

The new parent/carer forum has an ambition to have a parent/carer rep in every school.

• NHS Frimley ICB is working in partnership with the PBS Cooperative to offer free-to-access online Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training to families, carers, schools and children’s services across Berkshire - flyers attached.
